Law Enforcement Instructor – Wright Technical Center
Wright Technical Center (WTC) in Buffalo, MN, is seeking a committed and knowledgeable High School Law Enforcement Instructor to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with law enforcement experience who is passionate about teaching the next generation of public safety professionals.
Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in law enforcement, criminal justice, emergency medical response or a related field, and will be equipped to teach students the core principles of policing, criminal law, EMR and public safety. As a Law Enforcement Instructor, you will lead students through engaging, hands-on learning experiences that reflect real-world law enforcement scenarios.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach students foundational knowledge in law enforcement, criminal justice, and public safety.
- Develop and deliver interactive lessons that include simulations, role-play, and scenario-based training.
- Emphasize legal procedures, ethics, use-of-force protocols, and community-oriented policing practices.
- Provide instruction in physical fitness, report writing, and communication skills.
- Promote teamwork, professionalism, and respect for law and order.
- Maintain a safe and respectful classroom learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a Law Enforcement teaching license or have the ability/willingness to obtain one.
- Experience in high school teaching is preferred but not required.
- Professional background in law enforcement or a related field is required.

- Salary: Based on industry and teaching experience, ranging from $45,000 - $81,000
