Construction Technology Instructor - Wright Technical Center
Wright Technical Center (WTC) in Buffalo, MN, is looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable High School Construction Instructor to join our teaching team. Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction techniques, safety protocols, and the technical skills necessary for teaching students the fundamentals of residential construction. As a Construction Technology Instructor, you will engage students in hands-on projects that emphasize the importance of safety in the construction environment. You will guide students through the entire process of home construction, from planning and design to execution, fostering teamwork and problem-solving skills throughout the journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach students the fundamentals of residential construction, including safe practices and technical skills.
- Plan and implement engaging, hands-on projects that encourage active learning.
- Foster teamwork and collaboration among students during projects.
- Guide students through the entire construction process, from design to execution.
- Emphasize safety protocols and procedures in all aspects of construction work.
Qualifications:
- Interested applicants must hold a valid Construction Careers license or demonstrate the ability to obtain one.
- Experience in high school teaching is preferred but not required.
- A strong understanding of construction principles and safety practices is essential.

Health Science & Nursing Assistant Instructor (1.0 FTE) 2026–2027 School Year
Wright Technical Center – ISD #966, located in Buffalo, Minnesota, is seeking a dedicated and qualified professional to serve as a full-time Health Science Technology & Nursing Assistant Instructor for the 2026–2027 school year.
Qualifications:

Current Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license

Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience, including at least one (1) year in long-term care

Valid Minnesota teaching license in Medical Careers or willingness to obtain appropriate licensure

Experience supervising students in a clinical or practicum setting preferred
Position Responsibilities:

Provide instruction to 11th and 12th grade students in: Medical/Health Careers, Medical Terminology, CPR and First Aid, & Minnesota State Nursing Assistant Curriculum.

Supervise and support students during their long-term care practicum experience

Foster a safe, professional, and engaging learning environment that reflects current industry standards
Salary:
Salary is commensurate with experience and education. Range: $45,000 – $81,000

Special Education Instructor - Wright Technical Center 2026-2027
The Wright Technical Center – ISD #966 in Buffalo, MN is seeking a qualified applicant for a 1.0 FTE Special Education position in our ALC (Wright Academy) for the 2026-2027 academic school year. WTC is a 7-12 school focusing on career, technical, and alternative education.
Qualifications:
Interested applicants must hold a valid MN Special Education in one of the following licensure areas: Academic & Behavioral Strategist, SLD or EBD. Other disability areas will be considered.
Position Responsibilities:
- Applies processes of referral, assessment, curriculum team planning, and program placement intervention for students with disabilities
- Manages a system for developmental services
- Collaborates with teachers, high school personnel, parents, advocacy groups and outside agencies to insure effective communications and success
- Assist teachers by providing indirect student support for students with disabilities
- Assist with the early identification and detection of students at risk
- Facilitate the development of realistic occupational goals for students with disabilities
- Facilitate the development of transitional and lifework plans
- Participate in the development of IEP and 504 plans as requested
- Facilitate the IEP collection process
- Assist with the adaptation and/or modification of curriculum and/or instruction to meet individual learner needs
- Monitors the delivery of services and individual student productivity
- Maintain records consistent with district policies and Minnesota Data Practices Act
- Assist with attendance tracking and reporting
- Provide career information and career options/opportunities
- Assist with the presentation of professional development activities for faculty
- Respond in a timely manner to emergency and crisis situations involving students with disabilities
- Represent the interests of students with disabilities on the Professional Development Committee
- Perform other relevant educational and administrative duties as assigned by the principal or director
