The Wright Technical Center – ISD #966 in Buffalo, MN is seeking a qualified applicant for a 1.0FTE Cosmetology Instructor in our school for the upcoming school year. The WTC is a 7-12 school focusing on career, technical, and alternative education.
Qualifications:
Interested applicants must hold a valid MN Cosmetologist Instructor, School Manager License & MN Teaching License - Cosmetology Careers (or the ability to obtain one). Applicants with high school teaching experience preferred, but not required.

Special Education & PAES Lab Instructor
The Wright Technical Center – ISD #966 in Buffalo, MN is seeking a qualified applicant for a 1.0 FTE Special Education & PAES Lab Instructor. Wright Tech is a cooperative high school focusing on Career and Technical Education.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide instruction and supervision within the Practical Assessment Exploration System (PAES) lab to support student career readiness, employability, and independent living skills
- Maintain PAES lab equipment, materials, inventory, and program resources
- Support referral, assessment, placement, and intervention processes for students on an IEP
- Collaborate with teachers, families, staff, and outside agencies to support student success
- Assist teachers with accommodations, curriculum modifications, and student support strategies
- Help identify students at risk and support academic, behavioral, and transition planning needs
- Participate in the development and implementation of IEPs, 504 Plans, and transition/lifework plans
- Monitor student progress, service delivery, attendance, and maintain required records and documentation
- Provide career exploration, occupational planning, and postsecondary transition support for students
- Respond to student crisis situations, support professional development efforts, and complete additional duties as assigned
Position Qualifications:
Interested applicants must hold a valid MN Special Education in one of the following licensure areas: Academic & Behavioral Strategist, SLD or EBD. Other disability areas will be considered.
